QUAIL Jammers
What began in Gill Heginbottom's kitchen over 19 years ago has blossomed into QUAIL House's signature fundraising initiative. Our delicious homemade jams—crafted with care by dedicated volunteers—have become beloved throughout Chelsea and beyond.
Today, our jam-making sessions happen twice weekly in the kitchen of Mary Magdelene Church, where volunteers gather to transform fresh, local ingredients into jars of goodness. Each jar sold directly supports the needs of our residents and the maintenance of our home.
Join the Jammers
Our jam-making team welcomes new volunteers! No experience necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and we'll teach you everything you need to know.
To volunteer with the QUAIL Jammers: Please contact Brigitte directly at brigittedesmeules@videotron.ca to join our jam-making or sales team. She'll provide all the details you need to get started.
