Honouring the Legacy of Gail Hawley McDonald

Following the recent passing of Gail Hawley McDonald, QUAIL House would like to mark her loss, as her long-standing commitment, wise counsel, and generous spirit have meant so much to our organisation. Hawley was one of the founders of QUAIL and a tireless advocate for its residents, its mission, and its place in the community. Through her many contributions, as past-president, Board member, Residence Committee member, jammer, advocate, and friend, she helped make QUAIL what it is today. She was also a font of knowledge, generously sharing her experience, perspective, and understanding of QUAIL’s history and values with all of us. Much of the community spirit, dedication, advocacy, and care that continue to define QUAIL are part of Hawley’s lasting legacy. She will be deeply missed.
